London boroughs and postcodes we cover
To sell a quad bike in London, or an e-dirt bike, you don't need to ride or push it anywhere. We come up from Kent to wherever it's kept, even if that's a lock-up behind a block of flats.
South-east postcodes first
The south-east boroughs are nearest. BR is Bromley and Orpington. DA takes in Bexley and Sidcup, with Erith on the river. SE is the rest of south-east London, and CR is Croydon. Havering is RM. The north and west, and inner London, are by arrangement.
From Bromley and Bexley to Havering and Enfield
Orpington and Bromley are a short hop from our Swanley collections. Bexley runs straight into Dartford. Bromley's southern edge round Downe and Biggin Hill is still green belt. Farms and paddocks survive out there, so a farm quad from a London postcode isn't as odd as it sounds.
E-bikes and kids' quads from London garages
Most London sellers have a garage or a driveway, not a farm. So what we see here is mostly electric dirt bikes and youth quads. Sports quads turn up too. Now and then it's a UTV from a large garden or a business.
Sur-Rons and other e-dirt bikes

Most Sur-Ron, Talaria, Stark Varg and E Ride Pro models are not road legal. They're for private land with the landowner's permission, and tracks. We never suggest riding a non-road-legal bike on public roads.
That matters in London more than anywhere. Police can seize a vehicle used without a licence or insurance under the Road Traffic Act 1988 s.165A, and one ridden in an anti-social way under the Police Reform Act 2002 s.59. Riding in parks or on footpaths counts too.
Outgrown youth quads and weekend sports quads
Maybe the children have long outgrown the 90cc quad they learned on in the back garden, or the sports quad hasn't left the garage since the last track day. We'll take both. Every make we buy is listed on our page for selling a quad bike of any make.
How we check a London machine is yours
Theft of e-bikes and motorbikes is a real problem across London, so our checks here are strict. They don't bend for anyone.
First, the seller's photo ID has to show the name printed on the paperwork. For a registered machine that's the V5C. Otherwise it's the original invoice or receipt. If the receipt has gone, a finance settlement letter can help. A bank record might too.
Then the frame number. We need to be able to read it, and it has to match the paperwork. Ground off or altered means no sale. Payment is by bank transfer only, sent before loading. Never cash in hand.
If we can't be sure a machine is yours to sell, we leave it where it is. That protects you as well as us.

Our routes to your door
The A2 brings us in through Bexley. For Sidcup it's the A20, and the A21 runs up into Bromley. For Havering and Enfield we go round the M25. Tell us about access before we come. A communal garage, a lift, a narrow mews: all fine if we know about it.

It is. Greater London is part of the area we cover from our Kent base, and the south-east boroughs are only a few miles from the Kent border.
Which London boroughs can you reach soonest?
Once you've said yes we pencil in a date. Bromley and Bexley are nearest, with Croydon close behind. Enfield and the north and west can take a little longer to slot in.
Why are your London ownership checks so strict?
Because stolen bikes are common in the capital. We match the seller's ID and logbook or receipt to the frame number every time, and walk away if anything doesn't add up.
Can I sell an e-dirt bike in London without the original receipt?
Only if you can prove it's yours another way. A bank record or the order confirmation can do it. So can a finance letter. If we can't be sure, we won't buy it.
Will you hand over cash in London?
Never. Payment is always a bank transfer, made before anything is loaded, so there's a clear record for both of us.
